The Arlington Education Foundation makes four types of grants to support the Arlington Public Schools.
Innovations in Education Grants
Support innovative teaching and learning projects. Whether in one classroom or town-wide, these small grants spark innovative ideas throughout the district.
Continuing Scholar Awards
Support personal and professional experiences for teachers that will in turn benefit students. These awards fund seminars, courses, workshops, trips, or expeditions.
Development and Expansion Grants
School-based or district-wide grants to support the development of new educational strategies that target demonstrated needs, and have the potential to serve as models for the rest of the district.
District Investment Grants
Support multi-year, systemic, long-term change initiatives that have significant potential to improve learning and develop a strong, supportive community for students at the elementary, middle, or high school level.
